About this venue
Escaperoom Kollumerzwaag is a small, family-run venue on the Ype Smidswei run by escape room enthusiast Niek Sibma, who built his first room single-handedly in six months. In 'Edison Escape' (1910), the house of inventor Thomas Edison is central: Edison has fled from arrest and players must protect his life's work without being caught by the police themselves. In 'Disco Escape' (1985), disco enthusiasts must get a struggling discotheque running again without the owner finding out. Reviews praise especially the friendly welcome, clear instructions, and fun, logical puzzles; the escapetalk score remains at 6.8 on average, mainly because the atmosphere scores poorly and the décor contains much visual clutter — rugs, pots, and books that don't belong. For the region, the group price (€80–€120) is favorable.
